Welcome to Hairchitect Med Spa & Beauty Lounge San Francisco ("Hairchitect," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website (the "Site"), booking appointments, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our Site or services.
1. SERVICES
Hairchitect Med Spa & Beauty Lounge provides physician-supervised medical aesthetic treatments, beauty services, and wellness treatments. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Medical Spa Services: PRP therapy, PRF therapy, Salmon DNA treatments, Exosome therapy, microneedling, HydraFacial, laser hair removal, hair restoration, and other aesthetic medical treatments
- Beauty Lounge Services: Russian manicure, Russian pedicure, nail care, and related beauty services
Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, in compliance with applicable laws.
Medical Treatment Disclaimer: All medical spa treatments are provided under the supervision of Dr. Gleb Gendel, DO, a board-certified physician. Individual results may vary, and we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Age Requirements
Clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive medical spa treatments. Beauty lounge services may be available to minors with parental consent.
2.2 Medical Consultation
Prior to receiving certain medical spa treatments, you may be required to:
- Complete a comprehensive health questionnaire
- Participate in a consultation with our medical team
- Provide information about current medications, allergies, and medical conditions
- Sign treatment-specific consent forms
2.3 Contraindications
You must disclose all relevant medical information. Certain conditions may prevent you from receiving specific treatments, including but not limited to:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active infections or skin conditions in treatment area
- Blood clotting disorders or use of blood thinners
- Autoimmune disorders
- History of keloid scarring
- Allergies to treatment components
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in adverse reactions and releases Hairchitect from liability.
3. BOOKING AND APPOINTMENTS
3.1 Appointment Scheduling
- Appointments can be booked through our website, by phone at (415) 634-0998, or in person
- We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time
- First-time medical spa clients require a consultation, which may be complimentary or subject to a fee
3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling
- 24-Hour Notice Required: We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling
- Cancellation Fees: Failure to provide 24-hour notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost
- No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice may result in a charge of up to 100% of the scheduled service cost
- Repeated Violations: Multiple missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a requirement to prepay for future services or loss of booking privileges
3.3 Late Arrivals
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service or cancellation at the full price
- We cannot guarantee full service completion if you arrive late, as we must respect the appointments of other clients
3.4 Appointment Modifications
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to provider illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances
- In such cases, we will make every effort to accommodate you at the earliest available time
4. PAYMENT
4.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments.
4.2 Payment Terms
- Payment Due: Full payment is required at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Deposits: Certain services or treatment packages may require a deposit at the time of booking
- Package Pricing: Multi-session treatment packages must be paid in full or according to agreed payment plan before beginning treatment series
- Price Changes: Prices for services and products are displayed on our website and in-person but are subject to change without notice
4.3 Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in service pricing and is at your discretion. Tips may be provided in cash or added to credit card payments.
5. GIFT CARDS AND PROMOTIONS
5.1 Gift Cards
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law
- Gift cards must be presented at the time of service
- Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced
- Gift cards do not expire (California law)
- Gift card balances can be checked by contacting us directly
5.2 Promotional Offers
Promotional offers, discounts, promo codes, online booking discounts, and special offers may have specific terms, restrictions, expiration dates, eligibility requirements, and service limitations.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, promotional offers cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, discount, package pricing, membership pricing, gift card, credit, or special pricing.
New client offers are valid for first-time Hairchitect Med Spa & Beauty Lounge clients only. New client promotions, including first-service discounts, apply only to the client’s first eligible service and may not be used by existing clients. The system may prevent the use of a promotion code if the client is already listed as an existing client in our booking system or client records.
For online booking promotions, online booking is required in order to receive or redeem the promotional discount. Promotional codes must be entered or presented according to the instructions provided with the offer. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively after checkout, after payment, or after the service has been completed.
From time to time, we may update, modify, extend, remove, or discontinue promotions and special offers at any time without prior notice. Promotions are subject to appointment availability, provider availability, clinic schedule availability, medical eligibility, consultation requirements, and service availability.
Some treatments may require medical consultation and approval before treatment. Receiving or redeeming a promotion does not guarantee that you are medically eligible for a treatment. If a provider determines that a treatment is not appropriate for you, we may recommend an alternative service, and the promotion may not apply unless stated otherwise.
Promotional offers have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for cash, credit, refunds, or other services unless required by law. Hairchitect Med Spa & Beauty Lounge reserves the right to verify eligibility, correct errors, refuse misuse of promotional offers, and cancel or reject any promotion code that is used fraudulently, improperly, or in violation of these Terms.
20% First-Service Online Booking Promotion: This promotion is available for new clients only. Discount applies to the first eligible service only. Online booking is required. Cannot be combined with existing offers, promotions, packages, memberships, gift cards, or other discounts. Some services, products, packages, add-ons, or medical treatments may be excluded. Limited time only and subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.
5.3 Offer Errors and Misprints
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that promotional information, pricing, and service descriptions are accurate. However, typographical errors, technical errors, system errors, or pricing mistakes may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors, cancel or refuse any offer, and update promotional terms at any time, including after an offer has been published, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5.4 Medical Eligibility and Provider Discretion
All medical spa promotions are subject to medical review, provider discretion, and treatment suitability. A promotion, advertisement, or booked appointment does not create a guarantee that a specific treatment will be performed. If a treatment is not medically appropriate, unavailable, or not recommended, we may refuse the treatment or recommend an alternative.
6. TREATMENT PACKAGES AND SERIES
6.1 Package Terms
- Treatment packages (e.g., 3-session or 6-session series) must be used within one year of purchase unless otherwise specified
- Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable
- Unused sessions in a package expire after one year and have no cash value
- Package pricing is only valid when purchasing the full series upfront
6.2 Treatment Intervals
- Treatments within a series must be scheduled according to recommended intervals (typically 4-6 weeks apart)
- Deviating from recommended scheduling may affect results
7. INFORMED CONSENT AND RISKS
7.1 Treatment Consent
By receiving medical spa treatments, you acknowledge that:
- You have been informed of the nature and purpose of the treatment
- You understand the potential benefits, risks, and side effects
- You have had the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered satisfactorily
- You consent to photographs being taken for medical records (not for marketing without separate written consent)
- You understand that individual results vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed
7.2 Known Risks
All medical treatments carry inherent risks, which may include but are not limited to:
- Temporary redness, swelling, or bruising
- Infection (though rare with proper aftercare)
- Allergic reactions
- Unsatisfactory aesthetic results
- Scarring or hyperpigmentation
- Pain or discomfort during or after treatment
7.3 Medical Emergency
In the unlikely event of a medical emergency related to treatment, you authorize us to seek emergency medical care on your behalf.
8. POST-TREATMENT CARE AND FOLLOW-UP
8.1 Aftercare Instructions
- You are responsible for following all post-treatment care instructions provided by our medical team
- Failure to follow aftercare instructions may compromise results and increase risk of complications
- Aftercare instructions may include avoiding sun exposure, refraining from certain activities, or using specific products
8.2 Follow-Up Appointments
- Some treatments require follow-up appointments for assessment
- You are responsible for scheduling and attending recommended follow-up visits
- Additional fees may apply for follow-up treatments or corrections
